Yahangala is located in Udailuka Grama Sevaka Domain in the beautiful village of Kalugala. As part of the Knuckles Reserve, the original owner of this Yahangala was the Department of Forest Conservation. Knuckles Hills is a wonderful place full of beauty. It is called Yahangala because it is situated like a couch. Yahangala is south-east of Knuckles. This also has a Ravana legend. It is believed that King Ravana hid Goddess Sita in this mountain.
The upper part of Yahangala rock is about two to three acres. Both sides are accessible and the entire mountain is an area open to the air. There was no fountain or tall tree, but broken pieces of stone were everywhere.
